Specifically, the son of Calgary Flames legend Jarome Iginla.

Does that make any hockey fans feel old? Probably.

But there he was, Tij Iginla, with a crucial goal.

Canada had just taken a 4-3 lead, then given a goal right back to Czechia, before Tij Iginla went up high for a goal and a 5-4 lead midway through the third period.

He’s currently playing in the Western Hockey League for the Kelowna Rockets as he continues to develop.

He’s certainly got great genes. And having success at World Juniors would be a huge stepping stone in his career.

This was a great way to open his scoring account at this tournament for the 19-year old son of an all-time great.
